Automatica is a sales force automation tool bridging the gap between customer, design and engineering. More than a typical
product configurator - Automatica allows you to quickly output quotes, orders and manufacturing plans for design-to-order products
helping you become more profitable.
Automatica addresses industry's need for design-to-order products by automating the tasks normally associated to design and
engineering professionals: making sure a product meets engineering, safety and design requirements for a unique customer need.
These tasks take professionals a significant time to process, but Automatica's Generic Product Structure (or GPS) can minimize
their involvement allowing them the time to do what they do best: innovate and produce new products.
The Generic Product Structure contains all the design and engineering information and rules related to a product. Using this
programmed information, Automatica allows sales staff, distributors and even clients to adjust any number of specified
parameters to achieve their design-to-order product, view it in 3D, issue accurate quotes, confirm orders, issue manufacturing
CAD drawings and bills of materials - all in a secure, web-based, "click and see" environment. Coupled with Automatica's design-reuse
and existing part algorithms and database, similar and existing designs can be re-used and/or re-issued for increased response speeds.
Using this approach, Automatica allows a company to realize the benefits of mass customization by creating on-the-fly variants of
