What's new in NCSIMUL 8.4?

Overview

BRT Solutions is pleased to announce the release of the new version 8.4 of its machining simulation software NCSIMUL.

With this new version, NCSMUL provides you with an even more innovating NC simulation solution that matches your needs, continuously ensuring a shorter return on investment.

The main innovations concern the global increase of performance and a more ergonomic user-friendly interface. Optimization of the cutting conditions benefited further developments in order to guaranty you a significant increase in productivity.

NCSIMUL 8.4 highlights:

Performance:

• Reverse material removing: enables the user to re-build the rough stock volume at a determined point. The removed material volume is stored in memory, the user being able to choose the number of blocs he wants to stock in it. NCSIMUL 8.4 can save it entirely or partly. That option enables a new way of working, step by step, in which the user identifies the problem, corrects it and continues the simulation.
• 64-bit version: NCSIMUL 8.4 is now available in a 64-bit version

Optimization:

Optimization now takes into account the machine specifications and limits (Effort on each one axis and maximum power of the spindle) and can guaranty optimal roughness quality.

Environment and general ergonomics:

• More user-friendly interface
• Graphic menu tree: tabbed dialogue boxes have been replaced by an arborescent menu dialogue boxes, which simplifies panel research. (view picture)
• New views manager: directly attainable from the 3D window. Save and store current view, Zoom back, et cetera. (view picture)
• New screen capture funtions
• Improved access to libraries: user has now a permanent access to all public resources (read only), as well as local resources. He can now share data from public libraries of contents and protect them in order to optimize its resources.

NCSIMUL 8.4 also includes more than 60 improvements compared to the former version.
